Just shown an old clip of a 7 year old future Queen giving a Nazi salute on the news here, too young to comprehend what it means she’s just copying her Mum, its also 1933 long before the war, yet it seems to have caused outrage from some PC types in England, some people really are pathetic, surprised there not asking the Queen to explain her behaviour and demanding she steps down or charged.

He's a funny old duffer and clearly doesnt give a fuck, and we all know how irritating it is waiting for some knob to take your photo and ponsing about for ages etc, however cant help thinking it was a bit misplaced here. A bunch of old timers assembled for a big last hurrah and with some important types, what should have been their big day and all about them will now be recalled for another impatient blurt of a famous old royal rascal.
If one of these old boys were my old man id be less than impressed. Sometimes the occasion demands you keep your lip buttoned down.
But when all is said and done, the wider sketch of historical events occuring all round us and yet to come, such moments are mere frippery, a footnote in the record.
What the old boys around him did however? Now that will be remembered, for time well beyond that i'll mark

A Family member works on one of the royal estates, recons Philip is a star, comes round talks with them takes an interest, both him and the rest of the royal family are genuine and like normal folk express gratitude for work done. Its the hangers on and courtiers that are the snobs and treat the staff like dirt.

I worked with him, taking his photograph. Totally professional. Knew exactly what he was doing. Liked a beer & chatting up the birds. Drove off in a metro cab. I liked him.

I'm pretty sure most on here have told someone to hurry the fuck up ever before (see anyone in a queue for a beer on matchday for example)
Because he's in the public eye he shouldn't?
Old bloke gets annoyed at someone dithering about so says something - good for him, but not really news.
He is brilliant though. Maybe his swear box could be used to prop up the Greek economy
